I once had a distortion plugin. It didn't sound like a delay at all.

Oh, wait... wrong thread...

Soundspot Oracle - Nice interface, outstandingly crap reverb.

It's on a lot of platinum records.

Simple, unassuming and low CPU, but not as bad as you suggest. Maybe you are not using it right.

You know what else is on a lot of platinum records? Autotune. Still absolute shit.

true-verb isn't bad at all. I guess because it's old it's no good?

My vote goes to that exactly :D

I've lashed up better reverbs in five minutes just using allpasses in MTurboReverb than this one. Oracle certainly gets my vote as worst reverb plugin. Though I've not tried the Minimal Systems one.

Ur doin it rong.

If you use multiple instances and uncouple the ERs from the late, Trueverb is good for placing sources in a virtual space. It also sounds pretty natural if you want a room simulation. ValhallaRoom is more natural but considering the age of Trueverb, it does a pretty good job.

Nomad Factory BlueVerb DRV-2080 is pretty shit imho.

Trueverb is pretty awesome imho.

Pretty much all Valhalla reverbs.

What is so bad about it?

Old waves stuff (or anything to be honest) doesn't bring good memories, but at the time we didn't have the cpu to insert multiple tracks. Still I remember preferring them to ir's, they sounded great on a single track but when spread-ed across the mix had this compressed-like artifact. Now convolution options are way better but cause of past experiences I guess I always stick to algo.

Vari-verb has always been very underrated, maybe because it was too transparent.

First breverb was a disappointment.

Bootsy reverbs, maybe it was just me but loved everything else he released at the time and still do.

So basically I can't remember anything "bad", even freeware somehow did the job but maybe if op used "unmusical" or something like that probably we'd get more replies.

The worst reverb I've ever heard is 7amp EC Reverberator. So bad that it's laughable. When I discovered it I couldn't stop using it on every sound material to get a good laugh. Adds some horrible bouncing metallic echo that can even be tuned to sound ridiculously high pitched to everything... :D

Seriously : bridge this one. :hihi:
