It is 2 Waveform Osc's and a Granular Osc going through the analog filters in the new 'dirty' mode... I recorded it dry and added a bit of Bitwig delay and VVV reverb. I like to record without FX so I can chop it up easily if desired. In this case, it is as is from the Quantum.

Fantastic sound! Would have fit well in that 'Annihilation' movie.

Thanks both... Have you tried the 2.0 beta yet?
I just installed it and the Kernels Osc is outstanding! I love FM stuff! It is deep and sounds very good with a pleasing overall character... easy to get a lovely noise in the tone and can also be bright and clear.

I didn't sign up for beta testing. I'm in the process of moving, so my studio is all in pieces. I'm sure I will dig the update when it's released.

I finally got on the beta this week - the new kernels synthesis engine is crazy, and the beta adds some very welcome new features as a whole. So much to be explored.

Oh well. Seems like a missed opportunity...
