And that shows in CPU consumtion...theyr FX and instruments does take alot of it :D

Folks are complaining about CPU consumption. Of a screengrab.

Because of companys history maybe? there is a reason why people dont trust someone who has done the same thing over and over again lol

Post

Feature list and general flexibility is impressive, so we can forgive high CPU consumption. Just do the best out of a single instance.

I got bored waiting and bought 'Zone' https://www.audiaire.com/ :D Gearslutz don't wait for anyone!

Parameter Sequencing is fast and fun (I know you could do this in your DAW but its the 'fast' bit that appeals) and it sounds great.

I imagen X will have a lot of overlap with Zone (and Pigments and Serum etc), but in the end I value simplicity and I already have Reaktor Blocks....but we will see, I can still be persuaded

Kontakt is in general a superbly efficient sampler considering what you can do with it. :)

The hype for Massive X is really starting to affect me. Lovely to see NI doing something else than new sample packs. Getting excited!

That's great. Wonder if they ever add that to original Massive, or Reaktor :(

Where is it written that interface is resizable?

Except if you are using the latest libraries (Analog Dream...)... :D

1st paragraph of the blog post:

https://blog.native-instruments.com/mas ... massive-x/
The first thing you spot is the radically overhauled interface. Some people here have said it looks clearer (helped even more by the introduction of a resize option), but this doesn’t mean it’s less complex or less flexible – quite the opposite. And it retains many of the interface features that were so popular in MASSIVE, such as the ‘saturn’ rings.

Sure some parts of Kontakt can be more CPU intensive, but still not at level of Falcon, for example. Multicore processing in Kontakt is a very good thing. :)

Yes, but not at the point where I bought Zone 'instead'

I am on Komplete Ultimate 10, so by the time it gets to 13 I will upgrade and have it all (evil laugh  )
