(The above is my interpretation of "Arrangement view in Ableton Live is a nigthmare!" :P :P The ugly motion blur is an in-DAW look too, haha, had a mishap when editing the theme file in a text editor and literally made a motion blur theme that is completely unusable)
Haha good stuff :tu:

(You could publish that artwork as: "How a Cubase user sees Live's arrangement" )

Ableton Suite package has hidden device. It's named Cult.

Complaining that Live is "limited" is quite the ignorant statement.

Live can do virtually anything other DAWs can. Sure, some things it doesn't do better...

What Live does do better, though, it does so much better that it's not even funny.

On the other hand, people complaining that Live is limited and it's only good for electronic music, helps the rest of us who love Live. That way we are fewer & we stand a chance of doing something truly unique that way.

There's three things that I hate in this world. Liver, grapefruit, and Ableton Lives arrangement view. The only way I can work with Live is with my Push 2 and the session view. After that, everything goes to Cubase 10. Takes me no more than 10 minutes in that arrangement view to want to put a hammer right through the freaking monitor screen.

Abletons limitations become clear when you want to record vocals, there's no native pitch editing, no real vocal track comping and worse of all it doesn't have ARA2 support.

Those actually sound more like limitations of vocalists

Haha, almost the same here (besides using Reaper/Harrison Mixbus for refinements/mixdown). Not 100% sure but afair there was only one track I've ever finished from A to Z in Live.

I've litteraly never finished anything in Live either. There are so many cool things about Live, so I'm not a Live hater, but I just can not use that Arrangement view at all.

Again, exactly my point of view. :tu:

Not being interested in DAW wars anyway. I leave that to the heated heads.

Can't you record your performance with the Push 2 and session view into the arrangement view and then make the necessary edits there with the easy shortcuts and zooming features (especially in 10 and now 10.1)? I've found that's a great way to work in Live. What is so wrong about the arrangement view? I honestly don't get it :-?
