Good morning guys! I just landed in Toronto from a busy couple of weeks in LA. This year was my eight NAMM Show, and every time I attend I am amazed at not only what I learn about gear - but about the music business itself.

At one of the panels I spoke on, we discussed digital marketing for musicians. Although the internet has greatly helped my music career progress and was a key factor to my current label recognizing my band, there are still many ways you can promote your music that doesn't involve an algorithm or Instagram story. (Live performances still being one of them.)

For today's article, "Music Industry How To" shares 10 ways you can promote your music in 2019 that "actually work."

My favorite points are #8 and #9.

My favorite is step 7 : Make great music :o

Would never have thought it could be important. At least, much less than step 10 : Get a publicist.
