some nice glitchwerk there...
i felt the pads sounded a little narrow in the stereo field.
still enjoyed it :tu:

Thanks, layzer!

What would you suggest to add width to the pads? Do you mean it's simply adding some pan or would you add some Haas-Effekt?
Problem with Waverazor is (or with me using it) - I was not able to add a key tracking to the pan. Therefore the main drone is all the same pan position and therefore I placed it in the middle...

the haas effect sounds strange to me, i would just apply some kind of widening chorus (my fav is Tal Chorus-lx) and a little reverb... getting a really good, natural, huge filling atmosphere has been one of my most important goals in music production since i started 8)

Thanks @layzer,

I've tried to get some with into the pads. Had a hard time with Waverazors chorus which I think doesn't sound good on my pads. Added some reverb and a bit mixing trickery...not to succesfull but hopefully a bit better. Updated the track on choon.

Many thanks, Frantz. Good to get such a positive feedback from someone like you...
The current version is even a bit longer and contains a new part whichwill be release shortly before the deadline for the OneSynthChallenge.
My OneSynthChallenge tracks usually grow with me getting better and better along with the featured synth. And this time with MOK waverazor this is really a journey into sound... Explosions, Blips, Glitches...all just this one synth.

Lots of great sounds. I can definitely see this as a film score. It conjures plenty of images without having to read what the parts are for.
Well done!

Thanks, frank1985...thanks for your nice feedback!

All sounds are coming from MOK Waverazor only: https://mok.com/

Most of the sounds I have deigned from INIT. True also for the drum sounds.

I create this track for the One Synth Challenge where each month a different synth is featured. The Challenge is to produce a complete track with only the featured VSTi and no other sound sources, no samples. Free FX and FX that come with the DAW are allowed. Distortion, Chorus and Flanger FX if not integrated in the synth itself are not allowed at all...or only in a way, that the sound is not completely inrecognizable.

Thanks a lot, Allomerus... one day I would love to be able to produce cool videos like you or frantz do.
But as you said, it's allways good if the music starts a train of thought in the listener...like with your track that I commented lately. That track of yours was a perfect example.

Sounds good. The transitions from one part to the next are done well. I do agree that the brassy sounding pad (and other synth elements) for the 5th part are rather narrow (almost mono) which kinda take away from the dramatic potential. Other than that, I enjoyed it a lot.

Thumbs up lessera, thanks man!
I'm working on the panning/narrowness. The current Version will come with some improvements like more widht and a completely new epic part.
Will be published shortly before the OneSynthChallenge deadline, by the End of january. Stay tuned!
