+1

@Richard: Maybe you should consider updating the demo, no? Thanks for your detailed explanations, but, as Dasheesh says... (see above).

I still don't think the filter section is well implemented. One wrong routing option, one questionable, .... haven't really explored all options BUT - those things get locked in and can't be changed now, so  and  . As for usability, I have my doubts but I guess it's up to everyone to decide for himself.

Still didn't get it why the fx sounds so loud with amount at 0.

Anyway, carry on, see you at version 3.5, or 4. Massive X is coming.

what he did is move the filter pan from the oscillators and put it on the filter section.

Edit: if he could some how put a filter pan circuit after the osc out, and before the filter balance in, that might open it up. don't know of the logistics of something like that, but would be sweet.

Ok, let's ask again ....

Glad you like them, we spent a lot of time on those :)

Time that wasn't wasted.
Dune 3 can produce very convincing choir voices that almost sound human. :)

Can I ask ..will you continue development of Dune or is this the last itteration? beyond Dune 3.

Adding a bit of music to this thread with this guitarish patch that I made today using a very simple 'equation' for the wavetable editor:

We have updated the demo version now, the trial period has been reset as well.

Depends on the input signal, filter settings & the chosen effect. It is not generally louder, mostly just the Hard Distortion has quite a bit of drive ;)

Note by using the Filter Drive knobs, the levels between the filters can be balanced as needed if two filters are in use, so there shouldn't be any issues from a sound design perspective.

Ok, I don't know if my question is being purposely ignored (which would be pretty rude), but let's try yet again ....

It was mentioned that DUNE 1 can (still) be bought via the online shop at the Synapse Audio site.

What about DUNE 2?

Post

That D1 lasted a few hours, maybe a day at maximum, once D3 was released .

No trace of D1 or D2.
I think you have your answer there.

I am pretty sure if he said that, some user(s) will post:why? why not? you should... and on and on...

It was pulled from the shop for sure, perhaps some ShareIt links were still live (but shouldn't be anymore). Either way noone purchased D1 or D2 since release day afaik.

Well, i just checked back in to say, Dine 3 is definitely my favourite synth now.
I knew it was special as soon as i played it, but after a month in use, its just the best.
Nothing else sounds this good (overall)

The analog type sounds from this thing are beautiful.

also, cytospur, i'm gonna try some of your wavetables! Been meaning to for a few weeks now!

Having Dune has made me want to get an Expressive touche (or whatever they are called). Falcon made me want it, but Dune has made me REALLY want it.

It's definitely one of my favorite synths too. Pads are just to die for on this thing.
