I’m really put off by their marketing hyperbole though.

“The finest elements ever found in a software instrument “

“...express your creativity in a way that’s never been seen before in a software instrument”

“...a new approach to building sounds”

“...the ultimate software synth”

“...the best sounding, most addictive software synth ever made”

Blah blah blah...

Not sure if this the synth for me, but I do appreciate their loyality to existing customers (69 euro in my case).

You mean youre falling for their marketing strategy of price it high but sell it low
Amazon: why not use an alternative

No, e.g. I bought three preamps you'll actually use ( I actually do) for 69 euro as well and that's real good value for money.

I guess I won't buy this synth though.

They reinvented the wheel. Tavewable sensation.

I've just finished browsing the presets. Pigments won't be my favourite synth ever. The sound isn't that impressive for a nearly-2019 synth, the presets aren't modern (some sound exactly like the sounds I used in my productions from 2007~2008), and I really don't like the GUI. The positive points are that it sounds quite good, the presets cover a very wide range of sounds, and the CPU usage is alright.
Please don’t read the above post. It’s a stupid one. Simply pass.

Lying? Who cares! I just find it to be overblown marketing fluff. I’m sure the engineering staff wouldn’t have chosen those phrases. I’m just surprised they didn’t mention a “paradigm shift”.
