I like artistic graff a bundle,
will maybe try some wildstyle sometime on a UI
I had a quick play with the redlight one-
will have another hack at it.
atm it shifts upward without discontinuity I think,
but the downward sounds really low-res

I have worked on the Shifter Redlight-
I faded the grains with more complexity and got rid of the discontinuities.
So here's another flavour of realtime pitch shifting->

I'd like it if u got back to me with how this one goes now Enroe 8D

Yeah, thanx! I just downloaded the "Shifter Redlight" - I am
curious to check this one! I'll report it in the next days!

Hello Nix, I just loaded and checked your last "shifter"-upload.
But - unfortunately - you did load up the wrong shifter. What
I found was this:
°
It seems to be your "one-octave-shifter" ground pedal, but not
your famous grey "3-band-shifter". Or did I overlook something?
And - if I am allowed to say that - even your last true "3 band-
shifter", the "Shiftah", had these mysterious brown knobs:
°
These brown knobs destroy the greyish dressy look your shifter
had before IMO. Also their status is not discernible at first glance.
Maybe the shifter just needs some more love, because it was
already one of the best?

Heya Enroe-
don't worry mate!
The Shifter Redlight is a different algo- I sorta wrote it with primitives.
It's a different plugin, that now works a lot better.
It doesn't just shift one octave-
I think it shifts +-4 octaves including semi and cents,
in a 3 note chord, ie. 3 lines,
and parallel and serial.
I was wondering if you would like to try my different grain shifter.
It has more volume modulation though.
The UI problem in pastel Shiftah- my, what's done that I wonder.
The knobs will be fixed for sure.
What host are u using?
Hang on -I'll test like 5 hosts.
yeah-let me know which host it is mate
I always need people to tell me what's wrong-
I'm a tiny dev and don't do much testing,
so please let me know if things are awry
--ps- I just tested it and it's not having the weird brown ones here in 4 hosts

Hello Nix!
nobody will know what these sliders do.
Well then. But this one needs more explanation, becausenix808 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 01, 2018 8:15 am The Shifter Redlight is a different algo- I sorta wrote it with primitives.

I check them in Cubase 9.5 and Reaper 5.95 (if time).

I think in 5 min it's not hard to get the controls,
they are logical enough I hope
I'd like to keep the UI just the same,
I can make a drawing with labels though- will do that for peeps first use
What was the host that made the knobs brown, sorry?
I can attack the problem, if I can reproduce it

That was in Reaper 5.95.
Seems to be mysterious - though it's not that important.
This one changed from Shiftah 1 to --> Shiftah 3 ... so something
must have happened ...

Reaper v5.961/x64 here.
Shiftah from Oct 1st...all good, no brown knobs.
Just shows Shiftah, not Shiftah 1 or 2 or 3.
enroe, maybe you need to make sure Reaper is only seeing one Shiftah dll?

thanks for the report enroe,
I can sorta raise a ticket and ask the FS dev about it
The knob is a simple vector one
cheers for testing for us goldglob!
edit-yeah, multiple plugs may have something to do with it
njoy the tech all

ShifterRedlight:
Only the top band seems to be working here.
Turning a band on/off by clicking it's little red light is fiddly..have to aim exactly with mouse..hit and miss.
Adjusting cents is fiddly...easily jumps from say 3 to 5 cents..hard to home in...needs a keyboard modifier I think.
Choosing which band to edit with the vertical slider...have to click then drag a long way...needs a shorter drag..had me fooled at first, couldn't seem to move that slider.
I can see that the square button top right changes the latency thing... when activated REAPER shows 1000/1024 spls which I understand is 1000 samples bumped up to next block size multiple, but when in the low latency setting REAPER is showing 0/256 (256 is my block size)....if zero latency should show 0/0 and if say 64 latency (whatever) should show 64/256....yes?
I guess the MIDI button is for cc control? But when I choose my MIDI keyboard (the one already hooked up to REAPER) I get a message telling me it's already in use and can't be selected...but I'm not sure about how these sort of things are supposed to work.

yo thanks-
I'm on this again then.
I'll see what I can do.
agreed the LED is really hard to click
I have set latency compensation at 1000 and 3000,
I think that it approximates what the plug does.
with the keyboard knobs- it needs an option for host,
if it doesn't have it
