This looks like the biggest prize fund yet. Am I wrong?

Whoa! Yeah, it's the biggest, and it more than tripled since the last time I looked. Perhaps a very generous individual made one large contribution.

So far, the Pro FET sounds very good, and I'm quite sure the Dead Duck poly synth is going to be featured very soon in a One Synth Challenge
Good luck to all the developers !

tried ProF.E.T. yesterday... it's the first Ignite Amps pedal that i can't figure out how to use when paired with a lead channel. any lead channel i've tried with it immediately went maximum overdrive, cut out all bass and had waaaaaaaaaaaay too much high-end before distortion and made my guitar sound like white noise. i have no idea what to do with it other than to plug it into clean channel.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I don't think you should use it with any amp sim ! It's supposed to be a preamp sim, so if you want to add something after it would be more relevant to use a poweramp sim only like the TPA-1 and then your cab sim.

Ivan is right, that's because the ProF.E.T. is an hi-gain "preamp", not an overdrive that you should use in front of a rhythm/lead channelBurillo wrote:tried ProF.E.T. yesterday... it's the first Ignite Amps pedal that i can't figure out how to use when paired with a lead channel. any lead channel i've tried with it immediately went maximum overdrive, cut out all bass and had waaaaaaaaaaaay too much high-end before distortion and made my guitar sound like white noise. i have no idea what to do with it other than to plug it into clean channel.
Common usages are:
1) Standalone in front of a power-amp (or direct into a cab simulator, if you prefer)
2) As a distortion unit in front of a clean channel
Hope it helps

thanks! so basically, it doesn't work with lead channels because it's not supposed toWild Hades wrote:Ivan is right, that's because the ProF.E.T. is an hi-gain "preamp", not an overdrive that you should use in front of a rhythm/lead channel

Just wanted to alert the KVR webmasters that, for some reason, Karoryfer's video is appearing in the videos tab of Ambiguous Guitar Duo (AGD). This is strange since I haven't done updated AGD recently to possibly cause this by accident (which is also very unlikely ).
I tried checking whether I could fix this, but I couldn't find anything AGD's product settings that hints to this outcome.
Not a biggie, but I hope it gets fixed soon.
