Am I crazy or is there no way to audition chords?
How does one audition a chord without selecting the chord and moving it up or down in pitch?
This makes auditioning chord progressions totally impossible...
Thanks ahead of time.

Sadly no, high on my feature request list, lamented it to support already.
Many daws audition notes as they are selected, that would be fine.seipster wrote:Could you give an example how you want it to work?

If you click-drag across notes they would trigger as they enter the selection.seipster wrote:Could you give an example how you want it to work?
Or
A mouse tool that will trigger a play head at the location clicked.

There's the 'speaker' icon just beneath the piano roll. Doesn't it do what you want?
Also, you can double-click on the beat ruler above the piano roll between the triangle markers to make it play from selected position.

i think he wants to listen to a selection of notes by clicking once on one of them.dekonstruktiv wrote:i still have no idea what you're trying to do.
now you deselect the multi selection, and trigger the one you click.

oh yes. and there never was a reasonable reason, at least for musicians, to not let play ALL notes in the piano-roll one has selected when already one selected note, out of 3 for example, gets played with the mouse-click.macgregor_oi wrote:Am I crazy or is there no way to audition chords?

sometimes i using "arrow up + arrow down" pressing together at the same time, which results in no nudge, only playing the selected notes
