Topic says it all. Rewatched Bladerunner Final Cut bluray last night, off to see the new one tomorrow. Assuming VVV will have the closest algorithms to a Lexicon 224, but which in particular, and any tips for getting those long reverbs to sound great/blend well with source?

VintageVerb, using either the Dirty Hall or Chaotic Hall algorithms.
Dirty Hall was dialed in from a 224XL, with special attention being made to model the diffusion and weird "low resolution floating point" artifacts of the 224XL. The 224 used by Vangelis would have been very close to the 224XL, although the 224 would have been darker. So I would recommend 70s mode.
Chaotic Hall is a newer take on the classic Concert Hall algorithm, with the "digital" artifacts of Dirty Hall replaced with more "analog" artifacts. It has a bit more compression and distortion internally than Dirty Hall.
For either algorithm, I would use Size at 100%, mod rate around 2.0 to 2.5 Hz, and back down on the Early and Late Diffusion to get more spaciousness in the sound.

Thanks Sean, excellent tips, am gonna give it a go today! Chaotic Hall became my fave algorithm when it was released, before that it was Smooth Plate (they are pretty much the same except for the chaotic modulation stuff, right?)
Saw the new BR2049 film by the way, was AMAZING!!!
