Muse Receptor Rev C Komplete Inside activation trouble

Hey,

I bought this unit 3 years ago and actally never used it because I was out of state where it was kept. I got this secondhand, and been having trouble activating the Komplete 5 it was supposed to come with. On my Mac, Native Instruments support center says it's activated, but when I go into my Receptor editor, it stays it still needs activation. Has anyone encountered this issue? Is it because it is activated on the Mac and not the Receptor? Or is it because I am not the original owner (then how come it says activated?)
