Kirnu creme and reaper

After searching extensively about a simple setup of creme, I've come to post here in hopes of the answer.

I have purchased Kirnu creme and have been trying to set it up
in reaper.

I have many daw software, but settled with reaper as it works across
multiple platforms.

It's my understanding that the setup for Kirnu creme and reaper is as follows.

A simple test project:

Insert kirnu cream on one track.
Insert vst instrument on another.

Put in midi notes on the cream track.

Cream's track output should be set to the vst instruments input?
(cream midi channel 1 and vst's midi channel 1.
The vst's output should go out to the master?

Please forgive the post if it's already addressed, and I just couldn't
find a video, audio or text file to make cream and reaper work.

I do have the cream and reaper manuals as well.
