Cerebrum is a groovebox style drum machine with random probability functions, and onboard bass synth and some serious drum design capabilities. It also boasts a full effects section for compressing, distorting and reshaping the overall sound. There are also some unique and overlooked features such as the audio input for chopping up incoming audio, and the ability to trigger each sequencer on a different key.

I've decided to include a copy of Cerebrum's little known cousin, Cortex the drum sampler with each crowdfunding purchase of Cerebrum. Cortex was retired long ago and was part of the Neurosynth Pack. I had a session with it last night, and I forgot how capable it is of some really weird shit:

Here I'm using a couple drum samples, layered samples of road construction and two very long movie samples that are being scanned through and reversed at various points. All sequencing and sample mangling done within Cortex. The only fx used is delay to show Cortex's multiple output capabilities.
