Hi,
when clicking into one of the 4 envelopes a popup window appears (shapes, sustain stage, etc.).
This popup is even occuring when the Multi FX window is on top.

yeah, never noticed that before, maybe because i always just clicked on the options. Seems SE is allowing click-through, but it doesn't happen with the PatternARP - maybe there is some issue with partial transparency being allowed to click-through.Chris-S wrote:Hi,

If i have time, i will try to see if i can fix it

The PopUp for the Envelopes allows you to change the stage shapes and add/remove more stages, set repeat modes and one-shot etc and has options to adjust time etc. Each stage can be a different shape - click in the stage then select which shape to use.
The bug was Click-Through from the Multi-FX panel - now FIXED.

I don't know any other synth support which is so fast in bug fixing.
Fast in replying, fixing, and even on a free synth !

Noise-Bug?
When playing whitenoise sometimes it sounds "distorted".
demo:

(last note is distorted).

I can hear the strange sound in your mp3 but i can't recreate it here. I tried the noise mode of each osc in isolation and together (i thought it might be a phasing issue) but I can't create the sound you get at the end.Chris-S wrote:Noise-Bug?

Can you email the .fxp so I can recreate the sound: ck [at] chriskerry f9 co uk
You know where the dots should be.

Maybe it's a VST-host issue. I check with other DAWs and let you know.
Edit: Checked in other hosts and can not reproduce it. So it's apparently no bug in Wideboy.

That's not a bug, just a reflection of how my 'warped' brain worksChris-S wrote:Hi, a very small bug:
when using Chorus with 3 voices the settings must be done for voice 1,2 and 4.
The options are 2v,3v and 4v this also defines the stereo spread.
Voice1 is always Left and Voice4 is always Right - Voice2/3 will be somewhere in the middle.
So for 2v, Voice1=L, Voice4=R for the widest stereo chorus.
For 3v, Voice1=L, Voice4=R, Voice2=Centre
For 4v, Voice1=L, Voice4=R, Voice2=Left 50%, Voice3=Right 50%
Although it sounds a little weird, when you change from 2v,3v,4v there is consistency in the stereo imaging, so you dont need to reprogram the chorus each time for each mode.
e.g. if you set up 4v chorusing but you think it sounds too Lush, just switch to 2v and the stereo chorusing is the same but not as Lush
