Sustain Pedal in DS404

I know this is probably a stupid question but I have gone through the DS404 backwards and forwards and cannot seem to find how to enable or disable the sustain pedal midi controller. I know the DS404 receives such commands but I don't see anywhere about how to turn it on or off. Is there a way?

I dunno about the high tech solution-- but I would either step on the sustain pedal... or not.

JK-- if you can't send it messages in the first place, a poor attempt at humour doesn't help.

there is no way to enable or disable it. but in an older version of ds404 no sustain pedal was supported. so you should probably update.
