I need some special sounds for a project, I'am actually working on.
These sounds should
1. sound physical
2. sound between animal and human
3. be very modulatable
I have fauna, friction and syng2 installed.
Could you please tell me, which instrument fits most to my requirements?
Most presets are very short...could you tell me how to modulate the sounds (which parameters), so they are longer and are pitched on the timeline...like a human or an animal is howling, or rejoicing or laughing.

based on your description i'd go with fauna, but i just make 'em, i can't use em for you 
you may be better off with a plunger and a bucket full of yogurt for making the sound you have in mind
fauna often took me an hour or two per preset for the first few days (given my perspective of knowing exactly how it works as well..) it takes a while to become familiar with. unfortunately, while i know a few ways to make sound producing tools, i have not yet discovered how to make using them easy you may get faster results with a microphone and a formant shifter like kerovee.
