Problem remixing a song in fl studio

I want to make a remix of a song but there is a problem when a drag it to the playlist, for some reason the program do not load the soung ..... answers??

what is the format of the file? wav, mp3, ogg...?
Try opening it with wavelab or soundforge, and convert it to wav
