I do understand your usability point, but don't yet see a simple solution.
I've added a note on the wishlist.
Until there is a solution, you can use this practical workaround: If you do want to monitor the keyzones within the patch context you're using at that moment, monitor the keys via MIDI or via the Virtual MIDI Keyboard as then you play the whole patch.

It is not usability as much as when you need it is an awkward maneuver unlike of MuLab cleverness.
Not a big issue at all . I mentioned in case it was a hidden/missed action from me and it is probably no worth your effort at tihis point of development.
