Hi there,
I've been trying the consequence demo and it's quite fun. I'd mainly want to use it as an arp for other plug-ins though, so I'd deactivate the internal instruments. However, I noticed that when I turn them off, the cpu does not go down. The cpu hovers around 10% for me, which is too much to use it just as an arp for another instrument. In Thesys when you turn off the internal synth, the cpu goes down since you're just using the sequencer. Would this not be possible in Consequence too? Using only the sequencer should be barely noticeable cpu, no?
thanks
De-activating Consequence instruments doesn't lower cpu.

Hi Attic,
we had a bad PC version out on monday which had a massive CPU problem.
It's fixed now, so maybe you just tried a bad version.
The Cpu will slightly go down if you turn off (via the blue lamp) the instruments.
If you set the filter to Poly off you will even save more cpu.
Best,
Robert

I'm on a mac actually. I didn't check if any effects were on, but I definitely didn't see any change in cpu at all turning off the instruments. I turned off the little lights - I assume that's the lamp you speak of.
