Hi,

Is there a way to set the loop length as you go? Like
1. Start recording
2. Make noise for audio loop
3. Stop recording
---> REsult: Augustus Loop closes the recording and loops it back.

I am familiar with Tap Rec, but it seems to me that it only creates a loop or the length predefined by the setting of Beats and Beat Divisor?

If the above is not possible, we can still change the loop length BEFORE starting to recording audio into the loop. But I'm wondering about the Beats parameter: When operating it from a fader I'm getting all kind of non musical values like for example "6.4" beats!

That's exactly what Tap Rec does.

Sounds like you might have "Punch Out" turned on.

Okay I see. And goddammit do I feel embarrassed for not having noticed about that! Well, here we go again then. Augustus Loop rocks a bunch!
