So if I open a new file in FL,
every synth I open before I open DirectWave displays in the DirectWave Volume meters, but everything opened after DW does not.
Is this a feature? Just happened to notice it.

I'm not sure, I haven't notice that but I don't use DW much.

I assume you're referring to the FL version (FL generator) and not the VSTi version.

It's an 'exploit' feature that can process buffers in FL generator input, so you can sample stuff in it.

Btw: what version of FL are you using, it's a not -officially- supported feature and I think it's removed on latest FL versions.

Gol / Reflex might know better.
