Hi,
I am progressively changing some aspects of the spatialization coding of the AcousModules that are based on the interpolations of positions.
The previous way caused some problems in Podium when multiprocessor was activated for plugins, and the new coding wil result in a slightly less CPU consumption.
It will not be obvious with the surround plugins, but can make a difference with higher number of channels like 16 or 24.
Another advantage is that now all the plugins share the same range and values of parameters.
Previously the spatial area values ("distance") could be different for a similar ratio in different series of plugins.
The result is that automations that were made with old versions are no more valid with the new versions.
So keep your old plugins versions if you are working on a project that uses automation curves...
Not all plugins are actually updated. A red point near the download link indicates that the plugin uses the new coding.
