Does anyone know if this works? The website mentions Gigastudio 2.5/3 and Kontakt 2. Kompakt loads Gigasampler files, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be compatible with samples for more recent editions of GS?

I guess you probably could import some of the giga 2.5 files into kompakt but would lose so much of the playability of the programs. I plan to try this soon by importing some programs into Halion.

But to get all the functionality and realise the samples full potential you really need giga 3 or kontakt 2 (with kontakt 2 only recently getting the legato scripts).

LPC is HUGE

That's like making Richard Petty drive a Volkswagen.

It might work, and I do think you can extract some stuff out to make it OK, but as OZ said, you are really selling yourself short.
