DS404 Crashes Lots!

Is DS404 going to be updated again? I've got 1.11 and it crashes a lot. For example, I just was auditioning CmPowerGuitar.404 and when I got to around the middle of the note range and held it, beyond the sample end point it started playing other samples as long as I kept the key held. It did this until it crashed itself and the host (Computer Musys). It crashes Sonar 3 and 4 quite often too.

There may be an update, but it isn't a top priority. After all, DS404 is a dead, unsupported product many years past its sell by date...

Too bad. As Computer Music magazine still distributes it, is there going to be something new to replace it in the Computer Music "studio" or ... ?
