Hmmmm....So what's a groundhog thread, then?

A groundhog thread was where somebody asked about the arrival time or feature list of T2 or upgrade price of T2 even though it was common knowledge that nobody knew this information until official release. So since nobody had new information, these threads repeated over and over each day like the movie "Groundhog Day".

However, the movie didn't repeat over and over. That would have made it the NeverEndingStory..which had an end..(there's a Simpsons reference in there for anyone willing to find it..)

Code: Select all

class CGroundHogThread
{
    CGroundHogThread()
    {
        while (1)
           p = new CGroundHogThread;
    }

    ~CGroundHogThread()
    {
    }

    CGroundHogThread *p;
    static const char GroundHog[] = {
    "A groundhog thread was where somebody " \
    "asked about the arrival time or feature " \
    "list of T2 or upgrade price of T2 even " \
    "though it was common knowledge that nobody " \
    "knew this information until official release." \
    " So since nobody had new information, these" \

    "like the movie \"Groundhog Day\"." };
