Hi Guys,
I recently picked up and started reading "Drum Wisdom" by Bob Moses. It is a great book on how to develop a "feel" for rhythm. Any other suggestions about these types of books, that are essentially people saying what an aspect of music "feels" like?
Thanks,
Monib

"Funkifying the Clave" by Lincoln Goines & Robby Ameen is all about developing a feel for the intersection of rock/funk and Afro-Cuban music, targeted at bassists & drummers.
W.A. Mathieu's "Harmonic Experience" focuses on really being able to hear the intervals in Just Intonation (JI), then explores the interface of JI with Equal Temperament in modern harmony. Mathieu's other books approach the phenomenological/social/sensual experience of sound and music in a similarly adept way.

Nice, I was reading Mathieu's Harmonic Experience, but will add his other books to my list.
Funkifying the Clave seems really good to incorporate into EDM/IDM!
Thanks Man
