Hi
I think I miss something when I think, how can you use Epic music. And - to point out - this is not trailer music, it's only Epic music.
One use is film, where there's no custom music and composer involved for some reason. Another is advertising. I think I'm missing something!

Could you give a definition of this Epic Music you're talking about?

How do you mean? All music is eventually composed by somebody.

Yes I can. It looks like nobody is aware of this.. For example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKJvnO-I57U
You can find a lot of such long videos on youtube.
There's a certain similarity between Trailer music and Epic, but Trailer is made specifically for trailers and may be not so pleasant to the ear. But it's (Epic) still made "for use", in visuals for example, I believe.

Thanks for all the funny replies, I appreciate :)

To be honest, this is the first time I heard the term "epic music". But I can totally understand where it's coming from and what the genre is rooted in. I guess it's derived from the orchestral sounding music in computer games, and hollywood blockbuster tent pole type films.

It's music that will defiantly need a very strong visual to accompany it.

The OP isn't asking how to make Epic music. My understanding of his post is, where else can you use epic sounding music in addition to film and advertising.

As I stated, it's music that is meant to accompany something visually powerful. It's sort of like Wagner's music. Yes, you can listen to the records o a headphone -- but you won't get the full effect because it's music that was created and intended to accompany his opera's -- massive stage productions with costumes and lights and Germanic mythic scenes.

Thanks. Now I'm thinking of 1 type of video game trailers, which can suit. Can be visually powerful too. No pauses, hits or transitions like in a typical movie trailer.
