Whatever I do, Reaper does not find SM.
I tried deleting my cache, loading all plugins again in Reaper, but still it's not there...
Any ideas...?

Both Synthmaster and Synthmaster one show up in Reaper on my Laptop (running latest ver of W10 ) Check your default vst folder to make sure Synthmaster is installed into that . it could be as simple as that possibly not a help and hope you get it sorted

As the above said but also if you are installing the vst3 it will sometimes install in a dedicated vst3 folder elsewhere. Unless obviously it asks you to choose your location.
The inner workings of vurts mind are a force to be reckoned with.
music is a need in my life...yes I could survive without it but tbh I dont know how

Just for clarification, SythMaster/SynthMaster One don't have a VST3 version, VST 2.4 only.
Regarding Reaper, are you really really sure you installed the VST dll to the folder where Reaper scans for VST2 plugins? I've been testing with Reaper for the past 10 years
and did you rescan vst plugins in Reaper ?

Works at KV331 Audio
SynthMaster voted #1 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll
SynthMaster One voted #4 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll

yes and yes
might be that I have several instances of SM, and maybe that's why it's not recognised. I had this with other vst also.

I just ran into this same issue. I have a valid SynthMaster and SynthMasterOne license, and I downloaded the installers and ran them both successfully. I double-checked that my VST files are in the correct locations, and they are being scanned by Reaper, but Reaper cannot load them. I get a dialog about looking for a license UI with a button to cancel loading the VST.
For this scenario, it turns out the solution is to launch the stand-alone versions of the plugins and registering them. When I ran both of those stand-alone applications I was greeted by the license UI and I provided my email and license key. After I completed this, I had Reaper rescan for VSTs, and they both loaded fine.

I also tried using the standalone as the installation and that was fine for REAPER. But the folder that worked finally was Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. This for someone else who cannot rectify finding in REAPER from above
