Hey everyone,
Does anyone here have the slightest idea how to recreate the lead sound in Solid Sleep - Club Attack? It's one of my favorite tunes of all time. It's such a different sound, it's not a heavy supersaw, and it's not a mellow square synth as well, and it's something I completely don't understand. Such a special sound. Here's the link to a clip, the quality sucks, but it's the only video with the right version!

Hi,
here's a little bump for my Capella preset request in case someone may help me in recreating these synths, because I think they sound cool! Thank you!
Capella's Move On Baby's main synth
(starting at 0'17, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65uROWSFcu8 )
or Capella's U&Me's synth
(starting at 0'21, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAswydn77-o )
or Capella's U Got 2 Let The Music's synth
(starting at the very beginning of the song, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXvB3w3hu6Y )
Thanks for your help!

I was thinking of going through all the regular banks that ship with Sylenth1 and just making a bank of ones that sound close to old synths so they are all in one place. Not modifying them, just the order would be different.
Maybe some others might find it useful, so they wouldn't have to load up different banks to find that other 70s-80's type of sound.
Someone did something similar with Z3ta+ (I think it was on the Cakewalk forums) where the person put all the different types of presets in order: pads, leads, etc. That synth's presets are normally totally out of order, so it helped alot.
Is that against any rules Lennard? Or KVR's rules?
If so, I will just use the bank myself, no harm there.

The notes you don't play creates the silent gaps for you to hear the notes you do play

I really hope this is not considered OT, if not, please forgive me ...
How do I find out which version of Sylenth is required to use the presets from the "Check Update Page"? Would be great to add, in which version they were saved.
I am on V2.201 (I know that I am 0.001 behind) but not even the oldest fxp files from that page can be loaded ("Can't read new preset v" ... I assume v stands for version).
Thanks,
Marc

The beta is up to version 2.21, I have been using it a long time with no problems. Maybe you should just update it.marc.masters wrote:I really hope this is not considered OT, if not, please forgive me ...

Dear Lennard,
Is there any chance to post the preset what Secret Cinema use in the tutorial video? Im talkin' about the first, very unisoned and lowpassed synth sound, very very detroit like stuff. (He sad, he assigned a knob for the cutoff.)
Thank you very much!

Hi Lennard,
I am newbie in synths and all, and thought you might be able to help me with these sounds.
I assume it's pretty basic stuff but I still lack the knowledge...
Anyway, I would like to recreate synths from this wonderful tune:
https://soundcloud.com/sftbeats/s-f-t-onefordan
[soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/sftbeats/s-f-t-onefordan[/soundcloud]
Mainly the synth in the beginning of the track and the bassy one on 0:06.
Thanks a lot!
