Hi guys,

I thought as the presets on here are usually aimed at dance/trance tracks, I thought it woudl be interesting to put a request for a commercial electro-pop track?

Download these from the online preset section (click MENU -> Check for updates to get there).

you say download these from online preset section, where is the preset section? the section on kvr? or lennar digital.com ? sorry! =D

just click on the menu tab in sylenth 1 then check for updates on the drop down menu and it should take you to the preset download section

Is there a way to get to the online presets on a computer without sylenth installed? Reason I ask os my studio doesn't have the internet...

I would like to get a sound like this in Sylenth1, sounds sort of like an old ELP synth sound

Can Sylenth1 do this? Or maybe there is a preset already like this one (?)
I am not the best at figuring these things out

Is it ok to upload tweeked versions of existing Sylenth1 presets on to the KVR database?
And if I do, do I have to call it the same name (or similar to the original) or can I just totally rename it?

There is this one preset that I changed around a lot, and now ya can't really tell it was from one of the original presets. It sounds pretty cool and I'd like to share it if possible.

Here is a quick example of the preset I mentioned earlier, if anyone likes it I can upload it on KVR.

No effects or other processing except the built-in effects of Sylenth1:

I could try to do that if I get some more time, maybe just work on it here and there after I get home from my day job.

Your presets are really good Rob, it must take a while to build up enough for whole bank, right? It would take me forever to make a bank as I am not as experienced as others, but I can try.

Thanks i would estimate about 8-10 weeks or more per bank of 128 presets would be about right for me anyways.
Some time for getting all the levels right and then doing the audio demos

Doing audio demos is an important part of presenting your bank to potential
users mate.
I hope you do a bank for this synth.

Yeah I guessed right then, does take quite a while!

I can't work on much on presets right now, as nearly all my spare time is going towards a new song. I would like to eventually make more though when it is done.

It takes a while to make them, but it's kind of fun to do, just to hear what you can get out of it (Sylenth1).

It's a bit tough to get make new presets that are totally unique when there are already many good banks (like your's) out there. Then again, the ones I have heard are all a bit different from each other, just like mine would be I guess.

i don't have Sylenth anymore i haven't had it since my new build as i never saved the files

i already had the soundsets on the server saved so that's ok so if anyones wondering why i haven't been donating here it's because i lost all my *NFR* installer files etc and never bothered to bother Lennard about it.

Good that your making some stuff though mate.. Sylenth needs new Blood as they say.

That's a real piano. You'd better used a sample based piano instrument for that.
