A guitar pedal with an "easy to use" handling. Everyone knows
what these knobs are for. The preset-handling is perfectly good.
The pedal enforces a flat strong heavy distortion sound, which is
rather thin IMO. Yes - there is a bass-eq-knob, but it can't
take away the thinness. It can't add any mud to your mix. The sound
is the typical transistor FET-flat distortion. If you need this kind of
sound it is good and apropriate. But yeah, the sound is not versatile,
it's a one-trick pony.
Sum: Nice guitar pedal, it works as it should!

Maybe change the thread title from amp proFET to Ignite Amps ProF.E.T.. Adds a slightly more pro sheen.

I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Wow ! This one sounds really huge !! I've just tried it on Shreddage II Ibz and I really love it ! Clear, modern and powerful sound !
Please don’t read the above post. It’s a stupid one. Simply pass.

The tone of this pedal is a little "harsh", but it sounds great in the mix...
I'm not a shredder,so I wound down the gain on some saturated guitar tracks, but I get the idea of the tone that the metal heads are after...
It's funny seeing those guys striking their poses in the ads
It would be really cool if Ignite could put a high/low switch on the input side of the circuit,or release a version of the same pedal with lower gain staging...
There are a lot of great tonal variations with the dual mid range controls in the tone stack and that shape switch...
Their TS-999 is also a good one,but a low gain Pro FET would be a real winner because of that special tone stack

No auto tune...
