We recorded Nick Mason of Pink Floyd with Alan Parsons engineering at a London studio that had the same EMI TG12345 mixing console that was at Abbey Road during the making of "Dark Side of the Moon". Now his grooves are in the popular Rex, Apple Loops and Acid Wave formats for you to use in your music. If you like retro 70s drums and Pink Floyd this is a rare cool thing!

Here it is: https://www.esoundz.com/details.php?Pro ... code=NMKVR

We also have the multichannel drum kit in BFD2 format: https://www.esoundz.com/sounds/nick-mas ... /5224.html

Dave, your timing is impeccable.

Just last night I was watching the PULSE DVD of DSOTM. Still wondrous after all these years.

I don't know why, but the time change going into the guitar solo on Money is stuck in my head. Nick and his percussionist literally do a bang up job. :hihi:

This REX pack will definitely scratch an itch.

Cheers

So many plugins, so little time...

Nice to hear from you Berfab! This library has a very distinct vintage drum sound to it. A lot of fun to work with for many other styles of music besides something "Floydy".

So you saying now I can have my own personal Nick Mason on drums. I may have just creamed myself!

Great interviews, Dave.

I don't know what it is, but I could listen to Alan Parsons talk about DSOTM production all day. I've got his DVD from the BBC special about his techniques from that record, and I just find it fascinating.

It's probably the simplicity in what he did, compared with the results he achieved. He puts a chorus effect or a Leslie where no one thought to put it before. And I think, 'Hmmmm...I'VE got chorus effect. Maybe I can be a production genius too.'

And then, of course, I wake up.

Very cool stuff.
