As far as I can tell / remember, the Infinite Player and OWD (and Kapsules?) use samples based on 48000Hz.

So in a project / audio interface using 44100Hz there would be a lot of resampling going on. Now whether that is occurring in Kontakt / IP or the host or the audio interface itself I don't know, but it might be quite a processing load.

Would it be advantageous to have 44100Hz versions of the Sonic Reality products too?

I don't think it matters much in terms of performance. Better to have it at the higher sample rate. It's done in the sampler.
