I want to buy some drum libs from esoundz, the Jerry Marotta & Neil Peart, they seem to have a drastic price cut, which is a good thing, and since it's a download it seeems reasonable...any problems from you guys who have dealt with them ? thx for any replies...

I've bought several products over the years and had no problems. I think the products and service are great. If
you're getting the Neil Peart drums, you're in foe a treat; they've become the drums I use 99% of time. Best money
I've spent on a sample library in a long time.

Yes, Dave (aka Squids) has been in the sampling business for over a decade and is 100% legit. I think the best product that he has been involved with has been Ocean Way Drums (the full GOLD product).
I wish I could demo the Neil Pert and other EPIK drum kits to see if they sit as naturally in a mix as does OWD.
But, back to topic, ESOUNDZ is one of the best sample providers on the face of the earth. So, no worries.

sounds good to me, Ocean Way & Epik are also on my list, I've got Mixosaurus, which is an amazing lib, but it is such a resource hog...thanks for the feedback, I'm looking forward to using my Roland v-kit with them...jkleban wrote:Yes, Dave (aka Squids) has been in the sampling business for over a decade and is 100% legit. I've dealt with esoundz for a number of years. You will like them, and you'll get to know Squids and Allen. There are a number of us fanboys who happily recommend them.
If you like the drum kits, be sure to check out the youtube videos. I'll try to look up a couple.

Also there were/are some great videos of a girl playing drum pads. She is doing covers of songs. Can't seem to find it right now.
