I figured we'd see some new material for Reason by now, but NOTHING. SampleTank AND Kontakt has had their turn to shine all summer...I think it's Reason's turn now. I would expect the same is not better material for Reason as the other workstations and samplers...it's time!!!!!!!!!!!

Question to the Sonic Reality guys. I am new to buying Sonic Reality stuff on esoundz. I realize that the Reason 4 refills are compatible with reason 5.
BUT, if you were to say, update the old reason 4 refills (i.e. SR Gold/Ultra Series) to include stuff from reason 5, is an esoundz buyer of the old stuff eligible for an upgrade and how much does it cost if anything? Thanks.

We're not going to be doing that BUT if we DID do that then it'd be a free upgrade. So you're safe. There are a lot of great sounds already made for Reason to have. Plus we have new sets (less variety more focus on individual instruments) coming as well. Great time to build up a collection of Sonic Reality sounds in Reason!Ruined wrote:Question to the Sonic Reality guys. I am new to buying Sonic Reality stuff on esoundz. I am trying to build up my loop library now, looking at the R.A.W. packages. I am most interested in electronic, rock, ambient, and symphonic loops. What is the difference between R.A.W. gold and platinum in terms of what you get? Also, does SR plan to put any loop packages that take advantage of some of the OCTOREX features?

The difference between RAW Gold and Platinum are the 11 additional libraries you get in Platinum for not much more money. Totally worth it.Ruined wrote:Ended up picking up the SR Ultra Gold package with that coupon thanks!Squids wrote:Just posted a special KVR coupon for new and classic Sonic Reality refills for Reason. Not sure yet about OCTOREX. Ideally it'd be cool if we could use our unique multitrack rex files from Drum Masters and EpiK DrumS but it may or may not work the way it is supposed to with that.
Incidentally we do have some great drum refills that are new. But they're midi kit based:
