Hi,

You can remap any of the kit pieces/articulations via BFD's key-mapping page - dragging a kit piece over to a key and then selecting which articulation you wish to assign to said key.

In BFD's kit page you can select the info button (bottom left) which will give you an overview of the loaded kit pieces and to which midi key they're assigned.

Hope that helps :)
I'm familiar with that. I can certainly use the six tom slots, and say, two of the conga slots to cover eight toms, or use all the percussion slots with re-tuned pieces to get even more toms. I'm just wishing that the available drum plug-ins were a little more accommodating to those of us who want to set up larger kits.

At the moment, I'm in the middle of installing (and re-authorizing) all my software on a new computer (the old one died). Hopefully I'll have Kontakt & BFD installed before I get the NPD. Thanks for the advice.

Just been twinkling around with the pack and I'm very impressed by the level of scope one has with even more articulations than other packs... the cymbal swell artic is awesome!! Here's a tip when using it...

Double your cymbal (i.e. copy it) to another slot
Pan both cymbals left and right
Tune one to a higher pitch than the other
When programming, draw in the swell artic for both cymbals and you'll get that classic two cymbal swell you see drummers do.

Hope that makes sense. I'll whip up a preset to demonstrate it asap.

NP Groove 2 has a channel comp on the room mic and a bus comp on the master... all inside BFD2.

Thanks for the link gmontano. I listened to it a week ago and commented on it at vdrum.com where you posted it :) :

Thanks for the demos and screenshots guys! I like the graphics a lot. Just like Pearts kit! And after listening to the kit playing through Pim's midifile I have to say that it sounds pretty darn good! How does it feel playing the kit. Does it respond well on e-drums? Is it any different from other BFD2 expansions?
I'm still waiting for answers to my above questions gmontano ;)
...and I'm also interested in Pimenta's opinions since we seem to have a similar view of what's good or bad in terms of playability on e-drums.
