There's only one song there (yet) so it should be easy to find.

Its Miroslav Philharmonik Choirs only. Enjoy
Hey Shantar,

Nice job! Very etherial and nice work on the dynamics. My one submission (so far) is here.

Cheers

Dave

This is it! Everyone crank up the tunage. Time to win some free stuff!

This is my orchestral/choir submission to this contest. Made it the other day, right after finishing the choir piece...

The song is called "THE COLOSSUS OF RHODES"... Hope you like it...

Unfortunatly, every demo that is loaded up on soundclick is automatically set to 128bits... If this is a problem I guess I could hear if any of my friends can lend me som webspace to store my songs until this competition is over.

All is Miro, except the background noise, thats some free stuff I found on the web, but I wouldn't consider it to be against the competition-rules since it is actually only noise... I think it gives the overall sound more air and space... If there's a problem with this, I'll just load up a new version without or possably fiddle around with the "orchestra-noise" in Miroslav...

The reverb I use is (as allways) the reverb from the Philharmonik player...

My third submission to this contest. All 100% Miroslav Philharmonik. Made it the other day and did some small adjustments this morning. Hope you like it.:)

The song is called "THE LIGHTHOUSE OF ALEXANDRIA" you can listen to it here:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemus ... dID=657125

Musically speaking, was heavily inspired by the older works of Patrick Doyle.:)

Since this is my third submission of orchestral music in this contest I tried to get a different sound than the first two. My first entry here was a choir-piece, my second was an orchestra and choir-piece and this one is only orchestra so it is not so "holy" sounding as the first two... :hihi:

Hope you like it...

How are we doing with this? How many people have songs so far? Let's kick this up a notch.

Here's one entry from me:

CalloftheWaves

Good luck guys!
Gordon

I used SampleTank 2 with sounds from MiroSlav Philharmonik and Sonik Synth

My fourth(!) submission to this contest. A piece with more different moods. Starts out ballet-like with pizzicatos and light arco strings. A bit oriental-inspired but not that much really.
The song is called "THE HANGING GARDENS OF BABYLON"
Listen to it here:

Made with Miroslav Philharmonik and this time I thought I'd try T-RackS so I downloaded the demo and put a master effect on the outputbus.

With Chris and Gordon posting I had to try once more:

http://www.4shared.com/file/10857943/d6 ... Glory.html

I used Sonic Refills Vol. 12, 13, & 14. I got the pads and the lead synth from Sonic Refill Silver.

BTW, when you open the window it takes a few seconds for the song to load.

Here is another one. I used the 60's and 70's refill (vol. 10) for most of the sounds. I used Ed Green for the drums, and the Silver refill for the congas and the lead synth (Mälstrom) at the end. I really like the Mälstrom patches from the silver refill.

Very cool David. I listened to both your songs. Out of those two, my instant favourite is Show Me You Glory. I like the synthsolo...:) But you got some nice themes going on in both songs. One particular sound, the one that comes in at 01:14 reminded me of Jeff Waynes synth sounds in the 70s radioplay "World of the Worlds". Very nice!

OK, this is it folks. This is my last, final and fifth contribution to this contest.
After reading through some of what Squids wrote early in this demo thread I came to understand that this was not a competition to show off your skills as a composer but to show off what your IK/SR product(s) can do. So this beeing my last entry I thought I'd follow the rules for once. :hihi: I wrote a new song using Miro with that in mind to SHOW OFF the sounds and the diversity of this product. I hope I managed to do that. :)
It was actually very hard to write this song since I didn't really know where I was going with the song, but I knew that I always had to do something different after a few bars and preferably use as many sounds from this product as possible.
Since this is not a song within any spesific style (the demo-style maybe) I just called it "Miroslav Philharmonik Rhapsody".

Listen to it here:
