Deleting with iMac mouse

hi everyone,

im a windows user but recently purchased a mac for my fl studio production needs and im having an issue single deleting with the mouse.

Ex.

Im on the channel rack and i click in a sound one too many times and i want to delete them one by one. i tried (command x) but it deletes everything in the section when im just wanting to delete one sound i mistakingly added.

can anyone help pleaseeeee!!
