Make Unique is something I just learned in FL Studio. I just want to make sure I got this right. If you have a pattern that you want to clone and then alter that pattern. You need to enter another pattern and then make it unique? Otherwise you change the original pattern? At least that's what it seems like to me.
I can see where this will save me a lot of resources. Every time I want to make a change in the drums. I start a new instance. The next thing I know. I have 15 synths running. ( takes up a lot of CPU resources.)
I find it's great for making drum changes. Not to mention great for making leads.
I've been watching some YouTube videos on this matter. And it seems that everybody has their own way of using this. Is there anything i'm missing? :?

Select the target clip you wish to duplicate, click the flyout menu from the top left of the clip and select 'make unique'. the clip will then be given a new pattern and appear in the channels window.

Oh yeah! That's going to be a big help.
