I read somewhere that there are only wav files on the sample cds you can buy on the samplefusion website for directwave and if you download
the sample pack with the download tool, you will get them with the programs files for directwave. Is this right?

More or less :

The SampleFusion CDs were produced years before DirectWave so they
just consist of (wav) sample libraries that are unrelated to DW.

We are now (slowely but surely) turning most of what's related into
DirectWave programs (those that are available in the DW downloader).

I suggest you await our upcoming newsletter that will offer the
SampleFusion CDs as downloadable libraries from the downloader
directly.

It's mailed to all customers when we release something major
(which is about 2 times/year). If you're not a customer just
keep an eye on our website(s) and forum(s).
