Hi,

Just been playing with the demo in the latest beta of EnergyXT. It seems to me that there is no support for sustain pedal - unless there is an option somewhere to enable this.

btw, i wonder what does a sustain pedal do ?
It just sends a midi message after all, which triggers ...?
Isnt it simply linked to the envelope's release ?

I'd guess that when the sustain pedal is pressed it causes any currently sustaining notes to stay that way even after the keys are released - those notes then entering the release stage when the sustain pedal is lifted

ah yeah, stupid me, it just holds the keys down (only makes sense if samples use looping i guess)

in some cases and depending on the programs it also triggers the "release samples" of the patch in use.
