Augustus Loop - Pitch Changes causing aliasing type artifacts. [SOLVED]

Win 7, Reaper 6.0 and Ableton 10.1, Augustus Loop 2.5
Hi, I am demoing Augustus Loop and find that changing the pitch value moderately rapidly and covering the full 2 octave range (but particularly the lower octave), whether by slider or piano type keys, gradually increases grainy aliasing type artifacts to very obvious levels. Even after resetting the pitch to zero and clearing the loop, the artifacts remain applied to the new audio. Is this expected/unavoidable behavior?
Thanks for your help!
[edit] The above test was done at 44 and 48k. At 96k there were less artifacts.

That's not expected. Could you please try the older version from here

Good, 2.4.12 does not have the artifacts. Here is a link to a recording I just made of the test with 2.5, at 44k, 24bit.

By the way, I realized there is a curious phenomenon concerning an obvious aliasing sound which occurs when the original audio is shifted to the position just 100 cents/half step either up or down (different from the grainy artifacts in question here). This I assume is a "phenomenon" because the same aliasing sound happens in Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular's "Sampler II" with live input. For testing, it's more obvious with a vocal rounded "ooh" sound (rather than a brighter "ah"). This can also be heard in the clip above, though I didn't think at the moment to repeat it several times.
If the 2.5 grainy issue can be corrected I will happily buy the complete bundle (I like xfadeloop synth also). Which by the way, that aliasing "phenomenon" can also occur in xfadeloop synth, but can be minimized by wrapping it in a plugin wrapper such as DDMF Metaplugin and engaging oversampling.
Thanks again for your help!

Rather than messing about with licences any further, could you just buy it? I'll happily commit to a refund if I can't fix this issue in a timely manner.
