I received a Disting mk3 with apparently the latest firmware.
Upon powering up it runs through the power-up LED sequence, and then all the LEDs constantly flash and Z control is unresponsive.
On powering down and powering up the skiff a number of times, the Disting has powered up and gone to its normal functioning, working fine.
Of the 10 times I've use the modular, the Disting has functioned normally twice.
Very confused by the inconsistency of this problem.
It has been suggested that this may be due to a lack of power being available to the Disting module...
Please help. What would be causing this?

The constant rapid flashing is a diagnostic message indicating a hardware fault.
It can probably be repaired. Email me if you want to pursue that.
