Cannot connect FH-2 to PC Win 10

Please help, new purchase, firmware V1.4, followed youtube instruction in connecting using Chrome, this aspect working fine, MIDI operating, have just purchased two USB A to USB C cables in event it was a cable issue, but I just cannot get the C to appear. Is it a cable issue, or Win 10. If cable, as I did buy from ebay although a decent braided one, can one be recommended, or is it something else? Thank you

It shouldn’t matter, but did you try both orientations of the cable?

Do you have any other USB hosts other than the PC that you could try?

iPad should certainly work, with the USB adaptor.

I have tried another laptop, no success, now ipad with adapter but I just get the microphone icon, no midi icon and option to save page. tried 3 cables and just no success.

I am going to try and buy a good Belkin cable tomorrow to try again.

Just wanted to say thank you for your help and time when all the issue was, cheap ebay cables, purchased a Belkin, and now working. It would be great for a video how to get it up and running on and ipad.
