Well done,It is good that firstly u focus on primary features, then secondary feautures.Jo do u plan to add play button for previewing every sequence on compose panel, this is primary task as u know. Also enlarge space for orchestral direction, mutools gives less atention to orchestral direction, there should be balanced instruments for magneting new users to mulab,i dont need 30 edm mux preset if i can make edm with 5 mux preset.I tried a lot of daws analised their samples, instruments genre that is why

Mulabs current structure allows to preview sequence playing it in browsers sequence section, what if u make realtime mirroring sequence between compose panel and browsers sequence section,it will enable to preview any sequence through browsers preview. In short if i press on any sequence on composing planel,in browsers sequence section its shown as mirror, realtime ,then it opens way to preview any sequence easily

I hardly dare to ask, as I know how much software developers hate the question, but: Is there already a rough estimate on when we can expect MUX 8? On a logarithmic scale, like in next week, next month, next year?

And: Is there a chance that it will be and/or be able to host VST3?

Post

I'm working on MUX 8 in parallel to MuLab 8.1. No VST 3 yet.

M8.0.68 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/beta/

What's changed:
  • MacOS: Fixed a crash bug when dragging many parts/events together.
  • Fixed a potential crash bug when dragging a rack slot while that rack did not have MIDI input focus.
  • MultiWaveOscillator: Upon importing M7 projects/presets that used the legacy M7 spectral filter transform, you now get the choice to consolidate that MultiWave (preserves the sound) or to switch to the new "Harmonics Filter" transform (preserves the definition).
  • Improved audio slicer algorithm.
  • Slightly increased GUI speed.
  • Extended logging.
How to update:
Windows: Replace the current MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID by the new versions.
MacOS: Replace the current MuLab.app by the new version.

Post

I've found that when adding the first transform to an MFO there are some artifacts in the tranform's UI. CFR:

Apologies for the lack of dialog, currently a lot of noise nearby.
