Getting white noise bursts

I have M8 .65 and it's been working fine for 2 weeks with my proper key. But today all of a sudden it's making white noise bursts like it's in demo mode. What to do?

How often do the noise bursts happen?
Do the noise bursts happen again when you restart MuLab?
Do the noise bursts always happen at the same times?
Do the noise bursts also appear in an exported audio file?
If yes then pls post here or email me a link to such audio file.
Are you using VST plugins?
If yes do the noise bursts also happen when not using any VST plugins?

This is solved - turns out it was a vst in demo mode that had expired.
It was weird because the white noise wasn't being displayed in the track meter for some reason, so I couldn't tell where it was coming from.
