Tempo reverting to default despite me changing it

When I am playing the track I made it won't keep the tempo I set for it. To explain, the default is 120, and I put it on 170, but when it went to a certain point (I guess either closer to the end or at the middle) it just reverted back to 120 and stayed like that on repeat. Is there any way for me to fix this?

Try right-click on Tempo / then "Edit Tempo changes"
Might be, that there is a tempo set ...
