There are Win options for controlling a set purely with a master keyboard as well...

But mainstage fails in quickly choosing sounds on the fly, as is possible with a hardware soundmodule
VIP is a nice tool too, probably the thing that comes closest to a soundmodule..
Yet how do i change sounds from a non akai keyboard? Hard to do... i guess it works just fine from an akai board, but i don’t have one
The tool is certainly better suited for live performing then NI kontrol..
But the orriginal question was about a hardware module.. and both these are tools running on pc/mac.... would be great however, if aki could make a mode in the mpc live that mimics vip control on the akai advance keyboards..
